FRANK WESSON 2ND MODEL 2-TRIGGER RIFLE. SN 3470. Cal. 32 Rimfire. 23-5/8″ oct bbl, with small tube see-through front sight, blank in rear seat, mounted with secondary rear sight, rectangular base with flip-up sliding adjustable peep sight. Bbl markings in front of rear sight are very thin. Manual extractor mounted to right side of bbl with slotted link on left side. Mounted with select straight grain walnut with uncheckered straight grip, crescent butt, extended frame metal forend. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 75-80% blue with sharp edge wear & evidence of some shallow surface oxidation that had been cleaned. Frame retains 50-60% blue with forward area worn & blended with a silver & brown patina. Stock is sound with a few nicks, dings & handling marks, retaining most of its varnish finish with hand-worn patina through grip. Mechanics are crisp; shiny bore with some minor pitting in 1st few inches of rifling. 4-35013 BDT281 (1,000-2,000)
