*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). SN 237503. Blue & case colored with 4-3/4″ bbl, 2-line address, 2-line patent markings with rampant Colt in a circle on the frame. It has rampant Colt hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Fine to very fine, the bbl retains 70-75% thin original blue with a spot of touch up on the left side where a spot of rust was apparently cleaned. The frame retains 50-60% faded case colors, stronger in the sheltered areas with the balance turned silver. The back strap retains 20-25% original blue and the trigger guard 75-80%. The cylinder retains 85-90% thin original blue. The grips are sound showing light to moderate wear. Mechanics are crisp, strong bright bore with scattered light to moderate pitting.
