*LOT OF TWO WWII JAPANESE MILITARY RIFLES. 1) Type 99. Cal. 7.7 Jap. Accompanied by an original bayonet with flat ground blade with steel sheath. SN 79444. CONDITION: Good to very good. Missing the ramrod, monopod and aircraft sights, mismatched bolt, cleaned receiver. Wood is sound with most of an old refinish. Strong bore. Bayonet is fine. 2) Type 38 Arisaka training rifle. Cal. 6.5 Jap with 30” smooth bore bbl with stepped muzzle to accommodate bayonet. Standard sights with original wiping rod. 1-pc wood stock with short hand guard and smooth steel buttplate. Completely unmarked except for the serial number and numbers on the various parts. SN 12. CONDITION: Mismatched with light rust on the exposed metal, refinished wood, pitted bore.
