*SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1903 “ROD BAYONET” BARRELED ACTION AND WOOD ONLY. Cal. 30. NSN. This is an unfinished receiver with no nomenclature or SN with an unfinished bbl and front sight for a 1903 rod bayonet. The bbl has blue on it and receiver is in the white although turned to patina. Front sight is complete and blued, although not fitted very well to bbl. Buttstock is complete and has a “1903” cartouche and is in very good condition with buttplate and swing swivel. Front hand guard is also present and has a 5″ crack from the rear up. Middle bbl band is present, although I don’t know whether or not it goes with this stock bbl receiver. There are no other parts present. I believe this would be a good investment for somebody that has the desire to restore an 03 ramrod bayonet for the parts.
