STEUBEN CRYSTAL COVERED VASE. Impressive large Steuben crystal covered vase has faceted bottom with cylindrical crystal body and 4 applied crystal handles. The vase is completed with a faceted crystal lid with applied loop handle. The vase is accompanied by a 1972 letter from Steuben glass authenticating the piece at Steuben and stating the design was first made in 1937. It states that it is not a one of a kind piece and that Steuben records do not indicate how many were made and sold. It also states that the vase design was discontinued many years ago. Vase appears to be unsigned. SIZE: 17-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to the underside. 5-66140 (500-1,000)
