LARGE LOT OF ENGINEERING DRAWINGS FOR THE WINCHESTER LEE STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE. There are 107 individual drawings of various sizes and in various scales which give dimensions, assembly instructions and changes including four of the eight types of firing pin, which nobody knows. Most of these drawings show great detail and include dimensions to the thousandth of an inch. The earliest is dated 1895, the latest is 1916 when they were discarded. A list of parts dated July 15, 1896 lists 90 individual parts. Another list shows the material to be used in each part. The forgings included Bessemer, Crescent, Firth, Spring and Bureau Of Ordnance steel specifications. All are shrink-wrapped on heavy poster board. 4-58840 (5,000-10,000)
