*RARE BIRDS EYE MAPLE MARLIN NO. 27-S DELUXE PUMP ACTION RIFLE. SN 551. Cal. 25RF. 24″ rnd bbl with bead front sight and Rocky Mountain rear sight. Standard two piece action, crescent steel buttplate. Special stocks of fancy birds eye maple. Stock has double pointed front and single point rear panels of 18LPI checkering. The ungrooved forearm with V-shaped panels of 18LPI checkering. PROVENANCE: Richard Rohal Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Has 90% bbl blue, minor wear spots. Magazine tube has 95% blue with normal wear. Receiver has 90% blue with normal wear on edges and top and bottom tang. Buttplate has blue turning to patina with small spots of surface oxidation. Stock and forend is sound with slightly flattened checkering. Original finish has widely scattered areas of finish loss. Action is sound with a very good bore. 4-40442 DS19 (3,000-5,000)
