VERY FINE WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 STRAIGHT PULL MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 236. SN 11674. 24” rnd bbl. Standard 2-line marking on left side of receiver. This is the civilian version without the caliber marking or model marking on receiver. Rear sling swivel is removable type that has eyes at front of magazine and near toe of the butt. Top wood surrounds rear sight and is held by middle bbl band. Steel guard with a “U” inspector mark has been added to front sight. CONDITION: Excellent. 98% blue overall worn only at right side of bolt. Stock has minor dents and scratches. Action is fine. Front bbl band has a bayonet fixture.
