*COLT MODEL 1911 SEMI-AUTO MILITARY PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. SN 499368. 1918 production with “black” finish, 5” bbl with usual slide markings, fixed sights and diamond checkered, walnut grips. Bbl is marked with “PH” proofs and it is accompanied by a 2-tone magazine. Frame has a small eagle head and “6” inspector marks on left side, above magazine release. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains most of its dark, orig blue with a few minor handling & storage nicks. Bbl skirt is a plum color. Grips are sound with a few minor chipped diamonds showing light to moderate wear on right side, fairly crisp on left side. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bore with minor frosting in the grooves. 4-30690 JR378 (3,000-4,000)
