RARE GREEN ENAMEL BEER OR SODA COOLER. This terrific old enamelware piece in lime green with white flecks marked on the top “POLAR PACK, UNIVERSAL CONTAINERS CO., TOLEDO, OH”. The sides are in the shapes of bottles and formed to hold 12 bottles of beer, soda or wine. The top is fitted with a corkscrew. The first piece of such graniteware that we’ve seen. SIZE: 11″ w x 8″ d x 10-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Small amount of wear to a couple of high spots on the lid and a couple of tiny blemishes on the side. Otherwise generally excellent. 1-1866 (350-450)
