GEORGE LANCE ((British, 1802-1864) STILL LIFE WITH FLOWERS AND BEE. Wonderful oil on canvas still life composition shows a double handled vase brimming with colorful flowers in white, yellow, pink and reds. A blue morning glory vine winds its way through the arrangement. A bee has landed on one of the yellow flowers. It is set against a sunset landscape. Signed “G Lance London, 1859″. Housed in a good gilt wood frame. SIZE: 20-3/4″ x 17”. CONDITION: Relined, some touch up, very good. 9-20168 (4,500-6,500)
