Part rnd 26″ special order length bbl with German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight Marbles No. 67 sporting rear sight. top flat of bbl is marked “MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO. NEW-HAVEN. CT.U.S.A./PATENTED. OCT. 11, 1887. APRIL 2,1889. AUGUST 1 1893.” Standard takedown action with medium-length locking cam. Lyman No. 1 combination tang sight. Classic S-shaped pistol grip stock and forend of fancy American walnut. Style-A checkering and hard rubber buttplate. PROVENANCE: Richard Rohal Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good as restored. 99% reblued finish on bbl mag tube and breach block. Receiver, hammer and lever have 99% recase color finish.
