*MARLIN MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. SN 283519. Cal .32-20. Rnd 24″ bbl with German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight and Rocky Mountain rear sight. Bbl markings are “MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO., NEW-HAVEN, CT. U.S.A./PAT’D OCT. 11, 1887. APRIL 2, 1889. AUG. 1, 1893.” Full length mag. Standard case colored receiver with top tang marked “Model/1894”. Standard straight grip stock and rifle forend of straight grain American walnut with steel crescent buttplate. PROVENANCE: Richard Rohal Estate Collection. CONDITION: Overall fine. Bbl and mag have 90% blue blending with areas of very fine patina. Receiver, hammer and lever have 98% vivid case colors. Buttplate has patina finish with surface corrosion. Sound stock and forend having very good finish and normal wear and handling marks. Crisp mechanics and good bore, bright with a small amount of very light pitting. 4-40362 DS34 (2,500-4,000)
