*MARLIN MODEL’94 RIFLE. SN 438316. Cal .44-40 s(smooth bore). Rnd 24″ bbl with German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight, and Rocky Mountain rear sight. Has a standard Marlin Fire-Arms marking partially legible. Standard case colored receiver top tang marked “Marlin/MODEL’94” followed by the six point star marking. Straight grip stock with S-shaped steel buttplate of straight grain American walnut. Stock and forend have added checkering. PROVENANCE: Richard Rohal Estate Collection. CONDITION: Good. Bbl has very old reblue patina mix. Mag tube has 90% blue. Left side of receiver has very good case colors. Case colors on top, bottom and right side faded mixing with patina. Buttplate has smooth patina. Stock has small chip at the toe, with good finish and moderate handling marks. Forend has one heavy handling mark on the right side with moderate wear and handling marks. Sound mechanics with clean bright smooth bore bbl. 4-40410 DS27 (2,500-4,000)
