UNSIGNED (French, 19th/20th Century) GIVERNY HAYSTACKS. Oil on canvas landscape scene shows three men stacking hay in cone shaped piles. Sections of the field are still unharvested and there are several trees and buildings in the background. Housed in a gilt flat oak frame with canvas having a French canvas stamp. SIZE: 15″ x 25″. CONDITION: Strip lined, placed on newer stretcher. Very good with minor inpainting. 9-99821 (1,700-2,000)
