AMERICAN FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SET, FRANK W. SMITH SILVER COMPANY, MASSACHUSETTS, CIRCA 1908. Comprising: coffee pot, teapot, waste bowl, covered sugar, and creamer. Each piece with everted rim with C-scrolled Rococo cartouches, the spouts and handles with scrolling vinery and leaf tips all with foliate chase work raised on leaf-headed scroll feet. Each piece engraved in script on the base “M.F.B. from A.L.B. December Nineteenth 1883-1908.”, etched with social security ID number, stamped “sterling 2268”. WEIGHT: 78 tr. oz. SIZE: 9” h of coffee pot. CONDITION: Front edge of smaller pot slightly upturned, otherwise very good. 9-90054 SM (1,500-2,500)
