UNUSUAL PRATT DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN.

UNUSUAL PRATT DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. NSN. 12 ga. 32” ribbed bbls. Marked in script “H Pratt” on top of the bbl and “CHANCE” on the right lockplate. Circa 1850-1851. Each lockplate is screwed directly to the breech. Dbl loop triggerguard is engraved to match the lockplate, tailpipe and buttplate. The ramrod has a brass tip and a broken ball screw. The bbls are very heavy. CONDITION: Mottled gray/brown patina overall with traces of blue on the hammers and even light pitting. Stock has been repaired and refinished. Mechanically fine.
