*RARE MARTZ CUSTOM LUGER SEMI AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mmP. SN 3872. 2-15/16” rnd bbl. Matte finished steel with walnut grips. This Model 1900 “Baby” was Martz’s personal pistol and has his engraved initials, “JVM” over the chamber. Grip has been shortened but the grip safety remains the same. Frame is marked “Germany” on the front below the SN. Magazine also has the number “100” on the wood plug. “72” appears on rear toggle while “15” appears on takedown lever. “26” is on the trigger, “67” on the sear, “18” on the toggle link, and “58” on the breechblock. These markings are also repeated on the left side of frame under the sideplate. The “vwm” logo on the toggle link has been re-engraved. Proofmarks on left side of receiver are faint. CONDITION: Excellent with minor handling marks on metal; some holster wear on left panel of grips. 4-30748 FS204 (5,500-8,500)
