FIGURAL MYSTERY CLOCK WITH ANNULAR DIAL NIGHTLIGHT. French, Late 19th Century. The base in the form of an Elizabethan guard in feathered hat on a stepped molded scrolled base. The mechanism is located in the base. The painted glass globe form dial rotates to tell the time. Candle holder and chimney for a nightlight. SIZE: 22-1/2” h overall. CONDITION: Re-gilded base. The clock was restored twenty years ago with replacement chimney, globe and fuel vessel. 9-74483 MD (1,000-2,000)
