SIGNED (European, First half of the 20th Century) VIEW OF WALCHENSEE. Gouache panoramic landscape scene shows a picturesque village with steeples and red roof houses at the base of foothills leading to tall mountains with snow crevices. Signed lower right with what appears to be “Corinth”. The was a Lovis Corinth that did paintings around the town of Walchensee. Housed in a simple wood molded frame with white matte. SIGHT SIZE: 8-1/2″ x 11-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good, matte has water stain. 9-28936 (500-1000)
