LOT OF FOUR MATTED NAUTICAL CHARTS. 1) Showing part of Martha’s Vineyard with Muskeget Shoals. 2) Showing York Harbor with the Piscataqua River. 3 & 4) Identical maps showing Penobscot Bay including Southern Fox Island and Owls Head Bay. Three are hand colored, one remains uncolored. All having embossed stamp from the Massachusetts Historical Society and are copies from the original 1776 publishing by Jew. Des Varres. SIZE: Sight: 22″ x 32″; three vertical and one horizontal. CONDITION: Mattes have surface dirt, otherwise good. Three with foam core backing, one without. 9-92712 (1,000-2,000)
