Oil on canvas New England landscape shows two figures walking away from a river across grass covered field lined with colorful trees and rock. A boat with three figures is seen along the bank with house on distant bank. A rain squall has moved left to right across the scene leaving mist in the river valley and dark cloud with light descending across low tree and rock covered mountain. Signed lower left “W G B”. Housed in a fine gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 24″ x 36″. CONDITION: Touch up, very good. 9-99533 (2,000-4,000)
