*OUTSTANDING MARLIN MODEL 94 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. SN 368601. Cal .25-20 M. Rnd 24″ bbl with German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight and Rocky Mountain rear sight. Bbl markings are “MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO. NEW-HAVEN, CT. U.S.A./PAT’D OCT. 11, 1887. APRIL 2, 1889. AUG. 1, 1893”. Full length mag. Standard case colored receiver having top tang marked “Marlin/MODEL’94”. Standard straight grip stock and rifle forend of straight grain American walnut with S-shaped steel buttplate. PROVENANCE: Richard Rohal Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. 95% bbl and mag blue with small spots of surface corrosion and light pitting on the muzzle. Receiver has 98% vivid case colors. Lever has dark case colors on the sides fading to a patina on the bottom. Buttplate has very good blue with small spots of wear and surface corrosion. Sound stock and forend with very good finish and minor handling marks. Crisp mechanics with a very good bright bore. 4-40361 DS37 (3,000-5,000)
