LOUIS XV MARBLE TOP BOMBE COMMODE. The original shaped molded edge top in a gray and white variegated marble sits atop a chest having two long drawers which conform to the bombe design. Burl front veneers surrounded by lavish bronze mounts and kingwood trim. At corners of front are bronze cherub and flower mounts. A very attractive and well made piece from the late 19th Century.
