GEORGE WIEDEMANN BREWING CO. TIN SIGN. Fantastic lithographed die-cut tin easel-back sign advertising Wiedemann’s fine beers. Depicting a scowling bespectacled curmudgeon reading a newspaper as two street urchins look on. A bottle of the brew is seen on a dresser to the man’s left. The reverse of the sign is affixed with a tin support so the sign could be displayed on a store counter top. CONDITION: Overall very good plus with exceptional bright colors. Sign exhibits a few minor scratches, shallow corner bends and minor litho loss. 8-76269 (600-900)
