SCHOENHUT HUMPTY DUMPTY CIRCUS IN ORIGINAL BOX. Early 1920’s reduced size Schoenhut circus in remarkably good condition with the circus ring area self contained with the canvas tent with various country flags attached to the tent. Included are painted eye figures of a brown burro, an elephant, a brown horse with original saddle, dapple color horse with wooden platform to allow a standing rider, a leopard, two clowns, a ringmaster and two female bareback rider/trapeze artists. Accessories include two painted barrels, a flat stand, a ladder and three painted chairs; two a coral color and one white. SIZE: Circus arena is 24″ (64cm)across x 18″ (46cm) d; 23″ (58cm) to top of tent. Figures: 7″ (18cm). Burro, elephant and horses: 7″ (18cm). Leopard: 5-1/2″ (14cm). CONDITION: Good to very good. Certain figures show wear commensurate with age. 1-8351 RS (1,500-2,500)
