RARE AND LARGE “BONNIE BABE”. Rare large socket head baby incised “GEORGENE AVERILL copr. by 1005-13652 Germany 1386/62”. What makes this doll unusual is that most know Bonnie Babes have a flange head and are mounted on cloth bodies. This version has a socket head and is on a five piece composition baby body. She has blue glass eyes which are currently not moving and open mouth with two lower teeth and separately molded tongue and painted hair. SIZE: Length 31″ (79cm), head circumference 19″ (48cm). CONDITION: There is a hairline crack from the neck to the left eye. The body has been repainted and is missing one finger on the left hand. 1-7748 (500-1,000)
