Watercolor morning scene shows a sun just rising above distant hills with rays of yellow sunlight streaking through parting dark clouds. The landscape shows a small field pond leading to trees and low hills. Signed lower left and dated “1903”. Housed in a wonderful modern carved and gilt frame with inner carved and gilt liner having gilt wood artist plaque behind glass. SIZE: Sight: 17-1/2″ x 19″.
