REMINGTON MODEL 1867 NAVY CADET ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 50/45. 32-1/2” rnd bbl. Marked with anchor on left side of frame and “P / F.C.W.” on right. Remington patent marking is on upper tang. No cartouche appears on stock. Issue marks “C / 379’” stamped on upper tang of buttplate. Only 498 of these were made. CONDITION: Bbl and bands have been cleaned to white. Receiver has a spotted brown patina with scattered light surface rust and pitting. Stock has many dents and scratches. Butt has been lightly sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically good.
