*1920 NAVY LUGER. Cal. 9 mm. SN 2595. Standard Navy with 1920 chamber date, 5 7/8” bbl, toggle mounted rear sight with full-checkered wood grips and an original Navy magazine numbered to this pistol. It is accompanied by an original Navy board stock dated 1920 with Crown over M proof, in two places, and the number 550 on the metal disk. Also accompanies is an Erma 22 conversion unit, SN 1812a with an extra, modified breechblock and two bbls along with an aluminum base 22 magazine numbered 1954a. Also included is a spare front sight. CONDITION: Pistol is fine. All matching although it appears that the number on the breechblock and the number on the back of the toggle have been restamped. Toggle link is unnumbered but has a “Y” proof. Firing pin is unnumbered. Otherwise all matching and retains most of an old refinish. Mechanics are fine with bright shiny bore. Grips show light wear. Stock is fine, missing its leather straps with a few minor nicks and scratches. Conversion unit is also fine and retains most of its original blue. Conversion carrying case is homemade and fine. 4-52279 JR193 (1,000-1,500)
