*SCARCE RETAILER MARKED MAUSER CONEHAMMER BROOMHANDLE PISTOL. Cal. 30 Mauser. SN 4001. Usual configuration with 5-1/2″ tapered rnd bbl, barleycorn front sight and 500 meter tangent rear sight. The left side of the frame is marked “Westley Richards & Co.” and there are British proofs on the bottom of the bbl. It has a stepped “cone” hammer and 23-line walnut grip panels with a lanyard loop in the butt. It is accompanied by its matching numbered walnut stock/holster. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus, all matching including the stock and retains about 98% strong bright original finish. The extractor, rear sight slide and firing pin blocks retain generous amounts of their original bright niter blue. The grips are sound and retain most of their original oil finish with a few small dings on the right side. The grip screw retains most of its original niter blue. The stock has a small hairline in the end of the lid, otherwise is sound with several small nicks & dings and a 1/4″ round bruise and retains most of its original oil finish with the metal retaining most of its original bright blue.
