*RARE BROWNING DIANA GRADE SMALL GAUGE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 2301J8. Cal. 410. 28″ bbls with matted vent rib, sgl silver sighting bead, 3″ chambers, chocked, mod and full, ejectors and gold single selective trigger. Left side of top bbl is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY” and right side “.410-GAUGE-SHELLS 3″-MADE IN BELGIUM”. The gray receiver is usual “Diana” grade with bold flowing foliate floral scroll with shaded background. Scene of 5 pheasants on left side, 4 ducks on right side, 2 flying game birds on bottom, and 2 rabbits on trigger guard bow. Signed on both sides “ABEE” . Mounted in a colorful piece of center crotch cut walnut, checkered rounded pistol grip, short tang, Browning hard rubber butt plate & full checkered field style forend. Bore diameter: top -NA, bottom -NA. Bore restrictions: top -NA, bottom -NA. Wall thickness: top -NA, bottom -NA. Drop at heel: 1-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. LOP 14-1/8″ . Accompanied with Browning luggage case with white insert on handle. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 98-99% orig blue with just a faint rub line in front of forend and a few light minor handling marks. Receiver has virtually all of its fine gray finish. Stock is sound with a couple of minor handling marks, clean dry checkering and virtually all of its factory finish. Forend is solid with a few light handling marks and a minor chip at bottom left side, fine checkering and most of its factory finish. Mechanics are crisp, strong ejectors and shiny bores.
