SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1873 CADET RIFLE. Cal. 45/70. SN 67666. 29-1/2” rnd bbl. Standard early Springfield marks on lockplate and breechblock. Issue numbers “25” are stamped on bbl tang and stock ahead of buttplate tang. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina overall mixed with surface rust and light pitting. Traces of blue on lockplate. Stock has been broken and repaired at wrist with normal handling marks elsewhere. Action is good. Bore is lightly pitted. Edwards Collection 4-58471 (500-1,000)
