PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 3. 1) Casing For Railway Car Stoves By S.L. Denney. Original patent tag #80,927, dated Aug. 11, 1868. Cylindrical pierced bronze model with flat round base and two hinged doors on side. SIZE: 5″ t., opening at top 1 3/4″. CONDITION: Several dents to upright cylinder and bend to lower rim, otherwise good. 2) Foot Stoves By M. Mellinger. Original patent tag #60,032, dated Nov. 27, 1866. Drum shaped model with pierced top, hinged door and removable bottom. SIZE: 3 1/4″ t. x 4 1/4″ diam. CONDITION: Replaced bottom lock, otherwise very good. 3) Stove By P. Rohdin & C. Ostergren. No patent tag, but retains Gilbert tag from 5/6/77 sale #596. Elliptical aluminum stovepipe apparatus with sawtooth edges with two hinged damper doors on front on three legs. Has brass plaque with inventors’ names “Chicago, Ill.” SIZE: 7″ t. x 3″ w. CONDITION: Some paint touch-up and mild surface rust, otherwise good. 1-1407, 1-1408, 1-1471 (400-600)
