13-/12″, (34 CM) BIEDERMEIER DOLL. Glazed porcelain shoulderhead, with molded and painted features, blue painted eyes, separately molded upper eyelid with red highlight line, closed slightly smiling mouth, and a black painted skull cap on the back center of head. She is on an antique heavy stuffed muslin body with parian molded lower legs with colorful molded boots with heels, as well as parian lower arms. She is currently wearing a remade lavender silk dress with lace trim, but she is accompanied by period white gauze and blue lace dress with train, a dark blue wool coat, and an antique linen chemise.
