PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 2. 1) Spark Arrestors By J.B. Suitt. Original patent tag #224,802, dated Feb. 24, 1880. Horizontal tin cylinder with chimney at top. SIZE: 6 3/4″ l. x 7″ t. CONDITION: Gray model appears to have been repainted, chimney shows some dents, otherwise good. 2) Boiler By T.H. Wheeler. No patent tag. Does have brass plaque indicating inventor’s name from Dowagiac, Mich. Brass cylinder boiler with bent metal foot base and two vent holes. SIZE: 8 1/4″ l. x 4 3/4″ diam. CONDITION: Missing one bent metal leg and has various shallow dents throughout, otherwise generally good. 1-1378, 1-1475 (300-500)
