*ALTERED WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. SN 430474. Standard grade rifle with 26” rnd bbl, magazine cut to half length, with the bbl band dovetail and cap screw hole filled. It has uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl with the two filled spots retains 85-90% strong original blue. Receiver retains about 75% strong original blue with gray patina. Wood is sound and the forearm retains about 80% original varnish and the stock about 60%.
