*byf 44 MODEL 98 MILITARY MAUSER BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 8 mm. SN 24687e. Standard 98K Mauser with laminated stock & usual configuration with hooded front sight & 2,000 meter rear sight. It is accompanied by an orig 98 Mauser bayonet with matching numbered metal sheath and an orig cleaning rod. The receiver & bbl have eagle & swastika stamps. CONDITION: Very good to fine, all matching including bolt & small parts. Metal retains a blue/gray patina mixed with orig finish. Stock is sound, having been cleaned & reoiled. Sling is extremely fine, bayonet is near new with one small dent in sheath. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. 4-31187 JR462 (800-1,200)
