*SCARCE RADOM MODEL VZ29 BOLT ACTION MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 8 mm. SN 60190M. Fine, pre-Nazi Polish military rifle with winged standard front sight and brass muzzle cover with 2,000 meter rear sight, cleaning rod & a stained birch stock that has a duffel bag cut about 3-1/2” from tip of stock. It has dbl sling loops, one set on the side, the other set on the bottom, each with an orig leather sling. Receiver ring has usual markings of “F.B. / RADOM / 1933” with the Polish dbl headed eagle cartouche. CONDITION: Fine to very fine, as noted, all matching including small parts. Metal retains most of its orig, bright, commercial style finish with some slight spotting on receiver & floorplate. Wood is nicked, dinged & scratched with a gouge by floorplate and on forestock with the aforementioned duffel bag cut. Slings are dry & crackled, in need of treatment.
