*RARE DUEL SIGNED BROWNING P3U SMALL GAUGE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. . SN P73RR1315. Cal. 28 ga. 28″ matted vent rib bbl with sgl silver sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers, MOD/FULL choke, gold single selective trigger and ejectors. Left side of bbl is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q./MADE IN BELGIUM”, right side “BROWNING SUPERPOSED/SPECIAL STEEL 28GA. SHELLS-2-3/4″/BROWNING PATENTS”. The blue P3U grade receiver is engraved with bold floral scroll with shaded background and gold pointer with gold flushing quail and gold wire on left side, gold setter with gold flushing pheasant, and gold wire on right side. Gold game bird in flight on bottom with gold wire. This fine work is signed on left side “M DEBRUS” and right side “BARTEN”. Mounted in an outstanding flame grained walnut with checkered pistol grip, flat knob, long tang, “Kick Eez” solid black recoil pad, checkered field style forend. Bore diameter: top -.549, bottom -.547. Bore restrictions: top -.012, bottom -.007. Wall thickness: top -NA, bottom -NA. Drop at heel: 1-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 13 oz. LOP 14-3/4″. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retained 98-99% orig blue with faint rub mark in front of forend and a few light handling marks. Receiver retains nearly all of its fine orig blue. Stock is sound with only a few minor handling marks and retains most of its factory oil finish with sharp checkering. Forend is sound with only a few minor light handling marks and retains virtually all of its fine factory oil finish.
