PATENT MODELS: LOT OF 4. 1) Household Implement By R.A. Mccauley. Original patent tag #116,849, dated July 11, 1871. Brass multi-purpose tool with claw for removing nails, screwdriver and awl. SIZE: 6 1/4″ l. x 2 1/4″ w. CONDITION: Very good. 2) Combo Implement By L. Schaeffer. Original patent tag #171,487, dated Dec. 28, 1875. Iron handled tool, combination nail remover, jar opener. SIZE: 8 1/2″ l. CONDITION: Appears to be missing tip, otherwise good. 3) Brush Hammer By John Sullivan. Original patent tag #201,850, dated March 26, 1878. Mahogany hammer handle with chamfered edges and a paddle shape at top. SIZE: 10″ l. CONDITION: Peg which holds paddle in place has minor chipping, otherwise good. 4) Hydro Carbine Burner For Heating Purposes By Yournaus & Reed. Original patent tag #60,455, dated Dec. 11, 1866. Blue cylindrical tank at end of brass shaft, highlighted by cast finial. SIZE: 9 3/4″ l. overall.
