*SS MARKED MAUSER STANDARD-MODELL MILITARY BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 8 mm. SN B39596. Usual configuration with barleycorn front sight and 2,000 yard rear sight with cleaning rod. Mounted in a nicely figured, 1-pc walnut stock with short handguard. Left side of bbl over chamber area has the SS death’s head with SS runes and a “2” above. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching including small parts. Overall retains 96-98% strong orig blue with some slight flaking over chamber area. Wood is sound with light nicks & scratches and retains most of its orig oil finish. Mechanics are crisp, strong bright bore, lightly frosted in the grooves. 4-31193 JR466 (1,500-2,500)
