WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal 32 WCF (32-20). NSN Standard grade rifle with a 24” oct bbl, full magazine, half nickel front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate without trap. All the metal surfaces have been nickel plated during which process the bbl caliber marking and SN on the tang were obliterated. CONDITION: Fair to good. About 70% of the milky nickel remains with the exposed metal a dark brown patina. The stock has a couple of hairlines at the wrist and there is a gouge in the forearm. Otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Worn dark bore. 4-50554 JR75 (750-1,250)
