2ND MODEL MERWIN & HULBERT OPEN TOP REVOLVER. Cal. appears to be 44 M&H. SN 7207. Nickel finish with 7” bbl with integral pinched front sight, Hopkins and Allen bbl markings, open top with scooped flute cylinder and carved bone grips. CONDITION: Fair to good. Traces of original finish remain, being mostly a mottled smooth patina with vice marks on each side of the bbl and nicks and scratches elsewhere. Loading gate screw is possibly a replacement. Grips are worn with a large chip at the top and heel at the right side and from the heel on the left side. Cylinder does not lock with the hammer down, otherwise mechanics are fine.
