*WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 708852. Standard grade rifle with 24” oct bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock & crescent buttplate without trap. Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum yellow sheet identifying this rifle as having been shipped 9/27/1916 to Blade & Larson, Stanton, Iowa. It was charged to “Drake & Co., Burlington, Iowa. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as restored. Appears to be a Doug Turnbull fine restoration. Blue is near Winchester quality and the case colored lever, hammer, forend cap and buttplate have authentic colors. Stock may be a replacement and all the wood retains most of a beautiful custom finish. Loading gate has fine niter blue finish.
