*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 25-20. SN 376838. Standard grade rifle, 24” oct bbl, full magazine, modified front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, uncheckered wood, straight stock, crescent steel buttplate. Accompanied by a /Winchester Museum postcard indicating this rifle was shipped April 4, 1907. CONDITION: Fair to good. No original finish remains. Metal is a gray, artificially aged patina with light scattered spots of rust & fine pitting. Wood is sound with most of an old refinish. Strong dark bore. 4-51572 JR770 (400-700)
