JOSEPH RODEFER DECAMP (American, 1858-1923) WOODLAND WINTER SCENE. Oil on canvas winter scene shows small stream through wooded landscape in early winter. Some leaves are still seen on trees. Yellow and gray sky indicating late afternoon. Signed lower right “J. Decamp”. Housed in a gilt molded wood replacement frame. PROVENANCE: Obtained from the family of a doctor who received it as payment for services rendered in Milton, Massachusetts when DeCamp was in Boston. SIZE: 12” x 24”. CONDITION: Two unrestored small punctures, surface grim, otherwise very good. 9-98990 (4,000-8,000)
