*INCREDIBLE ITHACA NID FIELD GRADE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 445521. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbls with matted, tapered, concave rib, sgl brass sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, choked FULL / FULL, dbl triggers & extractors. Top of right bbl is marked “SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL” and left “MADE IN U.S.A.”. Cocking indicator receiver has 8-pointed star, setter & “ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA N.Y.” on left side; right side is the same. Smaller 8-pointed star on both sides of hinge pin. Large 8-pointed star on bottom of receiver with inner & outer punch-dot circle; trigger bow also has 8-pointed star. Mounted with straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, serrated hard rubber butt plate, checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.727, right -.726. Bore restrictions: left -.030, right -.030. Wall thickness: left -.035, right -.034. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 5 oz. LOP 14″. Accompanied by its orig factory hanging tag. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Not much more than test-fired only. Bbls retain 98-99% orig blue, with slightest wear at muzzle & chambers and a few minor tiny handling marks. Receiver has nearly all of its orig case colors, slightly fading across bottom. Trigger guard has nearly all of its orig blue. Wood with just a few minor handling marks & virtually all of its orig finish.
