*FINE INLAND M1A CARBINE. Cal. 30 carbine. SN 380514. 18” rnd bbl. Inland bbl is dated 4-43. Folding stock has a leather cheekpiece with an oiler behind it. Inspector marks “AAV” are on left side of stock. “JL” is marked on bayonet lug. “R-C” on magazine. Rare paratrooper carrying case is marked “ATLAS AWNING / 1943” on inside of flap and “U.S” is ink stamped on outside of the flap. Complete with strap at muzzle end of case. Green canvas sling is unmarked. CONDITION: Very good to fine with wear in operating bar area and case wear on top of front sight. Some oil stains on wood.
