*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 44 WCF. SN 708706. Standard carbine, 20” bbl, full magazine, square base front sight, 900 yard ladder carbine sight. It has a staple & ring in the left side of the receiver with straight stock and smooth steel carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain about 95% strong bright original blue with some thinning and dulling over the forearm area. Receiver retains about 15-20% thin original blue with the balance worn & flaked to a silver patina. Wood is sound and retains most of its strong original varnish with light handling & use marks. Lever & hammer retain 25-30% thin case colors. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-51462 JR784 (2,500-3,500)
